Tuna Poke Bowls

If I were giving you a highlight real of dinners we love, Tuna Poke Bowls would absolutely make the cut. Everyone loves these, and there are never leftovers. The only planning needed for this dinner is to make sure you take your fish out of the freezer. Being one of our favorite meals, we have tried poke bowls with a variety of toppings, and different proteins. Having tried so many variations, some voluntary, others because we were out of key ingredients; this one here is the most flavorful, colorful, and delicious version of poke bowls we have created. Vegetable Cream Cheese

Homemade Vegetable Cream Cheese The simplest combination of veggies and spices to jazz up a sandwich, top a bagel, or add to a vegetable platter. 8 oz cream cheese, softened 2 T grated Onion 1 Carrot, grated 1/2 Cucumber, chopped small 1 Green Onion, chopped 1 t dried dill 1/2 t Onion Powder Salt & Pepper to taste Combine all ingredients & chill until ready to serve.

Tropical Oatmeal

If you know me well, you will be confused by the title of this post. We don't really eat oatmeal. I have never had a taste for it, I never fed it to my babies, never once have I cooked up a pot full on a cold winter morning. Our HOH (Head of House) does enjoy a bowlful every now and again. He will even go so far as to put raisins in it. The whole ordeal has always had a sort of off-putting effect on me. I've never cared for the stuff. That's a lie. Give me an Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Peanut Butter cookie in the morning and you have yourself a breakfast of champions right there.
